Nigeria vs Libya Match Preview
After going undefeated in their first two games, the Super Eagles of Nigeria are in strong shape as they aim to qualify for the 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Nigeria won their first game 3-0 over Benin Republic and their last game ended in a goalless draw with Rwanda.
Libya, on the other hand, has struggled with their performance and currently sits last in Group D of the qualifying tournament with just one point.
In their home opener against the Amavubi of Rwanda, Libya were held to a 1-1 draw, but in their away game against Benin, they were defeated.
The Nigerian Super Eagles are currently playing well, and they will try to maintain this momentum in order to increase their chances of qualifying.
Nigeria has defeated Libya in all of their prior meetings which bodes well for the team as the Mediterranean Knights are targeting a draw.
Although many believe Nigeria will win, they will be missing their top forward Victor Osimhen, who has been in excellent scoring form since joining Galatasaray.
