The stage where the singer performed was a replica of the well-known Eko Bridge in Lagos, Nigeria.
The city of Houston has declared July 7th to be "Davido's Day" in honor of his incredible achievements in the music business following his unforgettable and sold-out performance.
Davido received this information from the mayor of Houston in person, who also thanked him for his important contributions to the music industry.
The announcement was made just prior to the start of the Afrobeat superstar's performance at Houston's Toyota Arena.
Davido’s honor comes after he teamed up with Barcelona star Ansu Fati at the Afro Nation festival in Portugal.
