Red Bulls will wear the Kit for the first time on Saturday 26th August, when they face Argentine star Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami CF at the Red Bull Arena.
Hip-hop is a music genre started by African-Americans in 1973 around New York City, the home of the Red Bulls.
Celebrated former Uganda Cranes captain Ibrahim Sekagya took to social media on Sunday to flash his newest addition.
Sekagya is currently the head coach of New York Red Bulls II, the feeder team to the senior team.
“The New York Red Bulls created the Freestyle Kit to celebrate the golden anniversary of Hip-Hop and the innovators of our region, who for the past five decades have been pushing the culture forward,” the club announced earlier.
“The third kit will honour the legacy of the pioneering MCs, DJs, Graffiti artists, Breakers, and Beatboxers, from the Empire State to the Garden State, and the lasting impact that Hip-Hop has had and will continue to make on our culture,” the message explained further.
