Christy Ucheibe will continue her career at Benfica after signing a new contract until 2026.
Super Falcons of Nigeria star Christy Ucheibe has signed a contract renewal with Portuguese side Benfica.
On Friday, June 2, Uchiebe, who joined Benfica for the 2020/21 season, extended her contract until 2026.
With an eagle on her chest, the 22-year-old Nigerian international expressed her happiness at continuing.
Ucheibe took to her official Instagram account to post photos to announce the contract extension.
Along with the photos was a message that said, "The dream continues 2026✅🤍❤️ @slbenficafeminino @slbenfica
"Unless dey kill God! I lost but God resorted, all glory to God Almighty 👑."

In a report by Bola, Ucheibe said, "This renewal means a lot to me and my family, I am very happy to renew the contract for another three years.
"I appreciate this opportunity, which not everyone has. I will do my best to help the team win more trophies."
On her ambition with the club, Ucheibe reiterated that she intends to work hard to win more tournaments.
She added, "We want to continue to win, namely the Portuguese Cup, something we didn't manage last season.
"Let's work hard for this. In the Champions League, we will try to do our best to move forward in the group stage."
Asked about extending her contract with Benfica, Ucheibe stated that she has been accepted by the Benfica dressing room.
She concluded, "This period of three and a half years in Portugal and Benfica has been fantastic.
"My colleagues have always shown me a lot of love and affection. Benfica is love!."
Ucheibe is now expected to join up with the Super Falcons of Nigeria squad as they begin preparation for the upcoming 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
