There will not be any more time for the Uganda Gazelles to go out and have fun, at least until after the Fiba Women’s Afrobasket 2023.
But the team made the most of their last day before the start of residential training by unwinding in celebrating their captain.
Gazelles captain Flavia Oketcho celebrated her 37th birthday on Sunday, and the team used the opportunity to hang out and have a good time ahead of serious business.

Shooting guard Rita Imanishimwe is seen in a video leading the rest of the team in singing happy birthday to the most senior player of the squad.
When all the singing and eating was done, the team headed back to Onomo Hotel to prepare for Monday’s training.
