Vinicius Junior follows idol Ronaldo to wear No 7 shirt for Real Madrid while Rodrygo gets number 11.
For Real Madrid's next campaign, Brazilian attacker Vinicius Junior will don the No. 7 jersey.

Eden Hazard, who departed the team at the conclusion of last season by mutual consent, and Vinicius will now wear the jersey that was most recently vacated.
Emilio Butragueno, Raul, and Cristiano Ronaldo, whom Vinicius Jr. cited as one of his inspirations in an interview with madridistaReal last year, all helped make Real's No. 7 shirt renowned.
Mariano Diaz wore the jersey when Ronaldo departed the team in 2018, and Hazard donned it once he joined the team from Chelsea in 2019.
With 23 goals and 21 assists in 55 games, Vinicius Jr. was a star performer for the team last year.
Rodrygo to wear Real Madrid's number 11
On Real's official website, the squad numbers have been revised. Rodrygo, who previously wore the No. 21 jersey, is now lining up in place of Marco Asensio, who just gave up the No. 11 jersey.
Vinicius gets the number seven jersey after a racism row in the La Liga game against Valencia and then a meeting with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
