The 2023 World Championship Finals started on Saturday to record historical feet in Africa.

Seven-time Olympian, Olufunke Oshonaike has been knocked out of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) World Championship finals in Durban, South Africa, while her compatriot Fatimo Bello cruised to the next round.

Oshonaike Suffer early setback

The first woman to play table tennis in seven Olympic Games, Oshonaike suffered an early setback in Durban as she was knocked out by Charlotte Lutz from the US.
