Angiro has previously played for Nemostars and KCCA in Uganda but also tried out a pro stint in Albania before returning to join the Doves team.
UCU Doves' captain Gideon Angiro has become the first name to make a move in the Uganda Volleyball Federation transfer market.
The receiver-attacker has joined Rwanda's APR Volleyball Club on what is reported to be a three-month contract.
Uganda Volleyball Federation first reported the news of the transfer through their social media channels.
The transfer market in Uganda opened on May 15, and Angiro, who helped the Doves reach this year's National Volleyball League finals, is the first significant move reported.
He now joins the long list of Ugandan players who have crossed the border to feature for Rwandan sides over the years.
Kathbart Malinga, Daudi Okello and Savior Atama are some of the players who have recently plied their trade in the land of a thousand hills.
Angiro has previously played for Nemostars and KCCA in Uganda but also tried out a pro stint in Albania before returning to join the Doves team.
His power in attack and ability to receive the ball are some of his strong points as a player.

VOLLEYBALL Sport-S defeat UCU Doves to win first league title in 14 years
Saturday’s 3-1 win to level the series handed Sport-S the momentum and quite clearly deflated UCU going into Sunday's decider.
And having played for the Volleyball Cranes at the CAVB African Nations Championship hosted in Kigali, Rwanda, in 2021, the 23-year-old caught the eye of several scouts.
He also played for KAVC in the 2022 NSSF KAVC International Tournament and faced APR in the finals.
Despite his heroics for the home team, APR defeated KAVC 3-2 in the final to take the trophy.
It remains to be seen if Angiro's stay in Kigali will stretch past the three months or whether he will return in time for the start of the new season in Uganda.
